Kate is a born and bred Novocastrian. She is very approachable and will take the time to help adapt classes to meet you where you’re at. Kate is a physiotherapist, so she has a thorough understanding of how your body works and that no two bodies are alike. She has a strong passion for helping people and loves nothing more than seeing you achieve your potential.
Following extensive travel and working overseas in a children’s sport and recreation camp Kate returned to Newcastle and sustained a knee injury in 2010. Through her rehabilitation Kate’s thirst for more knowledge led to her discovery of the movement world. Since then, Kate has trained as a McKenzie physiotherapist and has sort out as much knowledge as she could find to add more to her tool kit. She continues to meld her physiotherapy and movement worlds together to help people not only resolve injuries but free themselves of physical constraints to enable them to live life to the fullest. Her journey is never ending, she is always looking for new opportunities to learn and grow through further training or from her clients.
When Kate’s not teaching, treating, or training at infuse; you will find her outdoors either running her Kelpie Frankie or skating/surfing with her partner Dan.
It is rare that you will ever find Kate sitting still, you will understand once you meet her that her playful energy is infectious.
