Infuse Health’s Iyengar Yoga School aims to nurture, educate and teach lifestyle principles for everyday living. With over 40 years’ experience between them, our Iyengar Yoga teachers are committed to guiding you through each asana (pose) to create body awareness and movement with ease. Our Iyengar Yoga School is located at our Infuse Health facility at 4/10 William Street Adamstown. Conveniently situated and easily accessible from the city or from the suburbs, our studio is set up to help you be the best you can be. To make it easier to build yoga into your life, we offer a range of early morning, mid-morning, afternoon and evening classes, inspiring you to find the best possible health for your body, mind and spirit.

The Studio

Our purpose-built and fully-equipped Iyengar Yoga School hosts private one-on-one sessions, small group sessions and corporate groups. We have all the props you will need, from the usual blankets, blocks and belts through to chairs, ropes, shoulder-stand cushions and many other aids. Our studio has been designed to fully support you, whether you’re a beginner, intermediate or advanced practitioner.

What to expect from your Infuse Health Yoga Experience

Our aim is to make your experience a positive one, whether this is your first or 100th visit. When you arrive, you’ll be welcomed warmly into our studio and encouraged to work at your own pace.

As yoga is an individual and personal practice, it’s important not to rush yourself or compare yourself with others. An introspective focus will allow you to get the most out of your experience and improve all levels of the practice including self-awareness, and subsequent quality and effects of the asanas.

Yoga and asanas are progressively taught so you gain confidence and achieve optimal wellbeing. Our focus is on establishing correct technique, not for the sake of achieving shapes, but for achieving the asanas underlying purpose and benefits. Our class numbers are capped to ensure personalised guidance is provided to ensure you get the most from your class. This progressive learning of asanas will provide a strong base on which to build your practice.

The asanas taught at the beginning will build your strength and stamina, improving muscular tone, flexibility, and alignment. Practicing with awareness will help reduce tiredness, create a sense of calm and train your mind to improve concentration.  Even after a small amount of practice, you will notice a difference in your wellbeing. You’ll find you have improved concentration, better emotional regulation and enhanced feelings of confidence.
